The waves are beginning to get rough
Emotions are going to explode
The fragments are scattered on the road.

The wind whistles through the attic loft
The young lovers trying to get off
The steam pipes are knocking out the beat
There’s gunfire on the whole damn street

Your silence is deafening these days

Your makeup it covers every scar
